Learning Doesn't Have to Stop at "The End"
Why not take your child "Beyond the Book?" The experts at United Way's Project Ready for Schoolhave worked with students from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to put together some additional activities that go along with the books your child may receive in the mail each month. These activities will help you extend the benefits of reading beyond the printed page.
They are educational, fun and free!
Beginning with "The Little Engine That Could," children can receive an age-appropriate hard-cover book FREE each month from birth to age five. "Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come!" is the final book each child receives as they prepare to enter kindergarten.
